Watchman Monitoring will count network errors as they are recorded by the OS.
Send/receive errors are commonly present, even on a network interface with no obvious connectivity issues.
For wired (Ethernet) networks, under normal circumstances, there should be no network errors reported. i/o errors are frequently a sign of a failure with a switch, router, or wiring.
Wireless networks, on the other hand, are prone to congestion, network errors, and frequently drop packets under normal conditions. Because Wi-Fi network errors can be a common occurrence in otherwise healthy networks, we recommend this option only be enabled on stable, wired connections.
